Did you vote today or did God?

Sitting here on the farm in Kentucky, looking at the peace and stillness, I can't help but think about the elections taking place today. I've heard so many people say so many things. I have a strong interest in a lot of top issues. It's easy to get confused by listening to others. I am a school teacher, I want someone who will support teachers and children. I want someone who will get ahold of the discipline issues in the schools. I want someone who will help fill the positions needed and give support where support is needed without handing out freebies to those who refuse to help theirselves. I want someone to make my state as safe as possible without making us all helpless. I want someone to stand up for the helpless children and the unborn. I want someone who will bring small businesses back and small towns thrive. I want someone perfect!!

Then, I realize I have someone perfect and he's already in charge. I keep looking to myself for the answers as we all do but realize only God has those answers. I pray to Him for guidance but then try to guide myself. I say all this to bring a notion to all. Give the vote to God. Let Him make the call. Follow His guidance and everything else will fall into place. And remember many will say they know Him, but do they walk like they know Him?
