Held Steady

Isaiah 41:10

There are days when I wake up already tired. Not just physically, but deep in my soul. The kind of tired that comes from carrying worry, grief, unanswered prayers, and responsibilities that don’t let up. On those days, Isaiah 41:10 meets me right where I am.

God’s strength shows up exactly when mine runs out.

I’ve learned this the hard way. When fear creeps in, when the future feels uncertain, and when I realize I don’t have the strength to fix what’s in front of me, God steps in. He doesn’t rush me. He doesn’t shame me for being weak. He simply reminds me, “I am with you. I will uphold you.”

What I love about this promise is that God doesn’t wait for me to be strong. He meets me in my weakness. When my hands are shaking, His grip is steady. When my heart feels overwhelmed, His presence is calm and sure.

Whatever I’m facing today, questions, battles, or burdens I don’t talk about much, I am not holding myself together. God is holding me. And that changes everything.

So today, I choose to breathe, release what I can’t control, and lean into His strength instead of my own. I don’t have to have all the answers. I just have to trust the One who is holding me steady.

Prayer: Lord, remind me that You are always with me, especially when I feel weak. Help me lean on Your strength and rest in the peace of knowing You are holding me steady. Amen.
